CAL: Week 13

¡Esta manta está creciendo muy rápido! :D // This blanket is growing up so fast! :D

Este es el patrón para esta semana, muy sencillo. Yo he hecho las 2 primeras vueltas en marrón oscuro, las vueltas 3 y 4 en beige y he tejido dos vueltas adicionales (el mismo patrón que la vuelta 4) en azul y marrón oscuro de nuevo. Es muy similar al cuadrado de la segunda semana pero veréis la diferencia una vez terminado. // This is the pattern for this week, very simple. I did the 2 first rows with dark brown, rows 3 and 4 with beige and I crocheted 2 additional rows in blue and dark brown again. It's very similar to 2nd week's one, but you will see the difference one finished.

Square a week - 12th week

CAL: Week 12

Este es el patrón para esta semana. Es muy sencillo y fácil de hacer. Podéis ver la publicación original pinchando en la imagen. // This is this week's pattern. It's so simple and easy to crochet. You can see the original post just by clicking the image. 

Yo he hecho las líneas 1-4 en azul, 5-6 en beige y la última en azul de nuevo. Y he cambiado los puntos altos por bajos en la última línea y, por error, en la línea 4 he hecho los puntos por detrás en lugar de por delante, pero no me desagrada cómo queda. Os lo enseñaré el fin de semana :) // I did lines 1-4 in blue, 5-6 in beige and the last one in blue again. And I changed the double crochets in the last line for single ones and, by mistake, I did the stitches on the wrong way, but I don't dislike how it looks. I will show you next weekend :)

Square a week - 11th square

Esta semana vamos a tejer un granny square original. Es muy simple pero mezclando vuestros colores quedará genial :) // This week we're going to crochet an original granny square. It is very simple but if you mix your colors it will look great! :)

La imagen os llevará a nuestra publicación, id a la página 20 y encontraréis un patrón para hacer vuestro propio granny square. Combinad vuestros colores como más os guste (recordad no terminar con el color A) y tomad como referencia el tamaño del resto que hemos hecho antes. // The image will lead you to our issue, go to page 20 and you'll find a pattern to do your own granny square. Combine your colors as you like (remember not to finish with color A) and take as reference the size of the last squares we crocheted.

CAL: Week 10

Esta semana nuestro cuadrado no va a ser secreto. ¿Por qué? Pues porque me lo he inventado y no sé cómo explicarlo sin enseñarlo terminado :P // This week our square is not going to be secret. Why? Because I have invented it myself and I can't explain it if I don't show it finished :P

Vuelta 1: 12 puntos altos en un círculo mágico.
Vuelta 2: Grupos de 5 puntos altos cerrados juntos separados por 3 cadenetas.
Vuelta 3: Grupos de 3 puntos altos separados por 1 cadeneta (en lugar de un grupo, dos grupos separados por 2 cadenetas en las esquinas).
Vuelta 4: Grupos de 3 puntos altos sin cadenetas de separación (en lugar de un grupo, dos grupos separados por 2 cadenetas en las esquinas).
Vuelta 5: 1 punto bajo en cada punto de la vuelta anterior (incluyendo las cadenetas). En las esquinas añadir 1 punto bajo, 1 cadeneta y 1 punto bajo.
Vuelta 6: 1 punto alto en cada punto de la vuelta anterior (incluyendo las cadenetas). En las esquinas añadir 1 punto alto, 1 cadeneta y 1 punto bajo.

Row 1: 12 double crochet in a magic ring.
Row 2: Groups of 5 double crochet closed together and separated with 3 chains.
Row 3: Groups of 3 double crochet separated with 1 chain (2 groups separated with 2 chains in the corners).
Row 4: Groups of 3 double crochet with no separation (2 groups separated with 2 chains in the corners).
Row 5: 1 single crochet in each stitch of the last row (including chains). In the corners add 1 single crochet, 1 chain and 1 single crochet. 
Row 6: 1 double crochet in each stitch of the last row (including chains). In the corners add 1 double crochet, 1 chain and 1 double crochet.

CAL: Week 9

Esta semana voy a enseñaros la página con la que aprendí a tejer. Se trata de TejiendoPerú, una página con una gran cantidad de tutoriales en los que Esperanza Rosas nos enseña a seguirlos paso a paso. Nuestro cuadrado de esta semana es un cuadrado con flor sacado de su página. Es algo difícil de seguir, pero con sus explicaciones lo haréis a la perfección. // This week I'm going to show you the page I learn to crochet with. It's TejiendoPerú, a page with a big variety of tutorials in wich Esperanza Rosas teach us how to follow them step by step. Our square for this week is taken from this page and it's a flower in a square. It's a little bit hard but with her tutorial you will be able to do it to perfection.

Square a week - 8th square

Está sin bloquear, así que todavía se ve con forma extraña. Cuando lo unamos con los demás se estirará adecuadamente para ajustar al tamaño habitual. // I didn't block it yet so it looks strange. When we'll join it with the rest it will be adjusted properly to the normal size. 

Siento la calidad de la imagen, pero voy muy ajustada de tiempo y estoy haciendo los cuadrados a contrarreloj. En las próximas semanas iré más desahogada y podré atenderos mejor :) // I'm sorry about the quality of the last images, I'm a little bit bussy lately. In the next few weeks I will be able to do it better :)

CAL: Week 8

Esta semana vamos a hacer un patrón súper-sencillo. Puede que sea lo más sencillo que se puede hacer en crochet. // This week we're going to crochet a super-simple pattern. It might be the simplest thing you can do in crochet. 

Yo he hecho: // I made:
C, D, A, B, C, D, B, C.

25 cad.
3 cad, 1pa en la 4ª cad (contando desde la aguja) y 1pa en cada cad.
Haz 7 líneas más de 3cad y 24pa.
Total: 8 líneas de 25pa.

Ch 25. 
Ch3, 1dc in 4th ch from hook and 1dc in each ch.
Crochet 7 more rows (ch3 + 24dc)
Total: 8 rows made of 25dc.

ACTUALIZACIÓN: Lo siento mucho pero he tenido un graaaan error. He escrito el patrón como un cuadrado formado por líneas de puntos altos. No es punto alto sino punto alto doble. PERO si ya lo habéis tejido y os habéis dado cuenta de que es muy corto, simplemente añadid dos líneas más. No terminéis en el color A. Yo he rehecho mi cuadrado y es el que os mostraré mañana, terminando en D y C de nuevo. 
UPDATE: I'm so sorry but I had a biiiig mistake. I have written the pattern as a square made of lines that were done with double crochet stitches. It's not double crochet but triple (or treble). BUT if you have already done it and you've realized that it's too short, just add 2 more rows. Don't finish with color A. I redid my square and that's the one I will show you tomorrow, finishing with D and C again.

Estamos de "vacaciones productivas", recogiendo muuuucho material para los próximos números de Aristocraft, así que hoy voy a hacer trampa (:P) y os voy a dejar aquí unos patrones muy chulos de esta página. El cuadrado de esta semana es el número 149. // We're on "productive holidays", getting tons of new contents for the next issues of Aristocraft, so today I'm going to be a cheater (:P) and I'm going to leave here some patterns that are very cute from this page. This week we're crocheting number 149. 

He escogido los siguientes colores para cada vuelta: // I have chosen these colors for each row:

1A 2D 3C 4B 5A (Yo he añadido una línea más, así que... // I added one more row, so...) 6C

¡Hola! :) Esta semana también traigo un gráfico. Es muy simple pero lo haréis mejor si véis el patrón. // Hello! :) This week I show you again a scheme. It's very simple but you'll do it better if you see the scheme.

Yo he tejido las vueltas 1 y 4 en el color B, las vueltas 2 y 3 en el color C, la vuelta 5 en el color A y la 6 en el color D. // I crocheted rows 1 and 4 in color B, rows 2 and 3 in color C, row 5 in color A and row 6 in color D.

Primero, queremos agradecer vuestra participación. Y ahora el patrón, esta vez un poco más elaborado pero sigue siendo fácil. Esperamos que os guste. // And now the pattern, this time a little bit more elaborate but it stills easy. We hope you like it.

Con A.

Comienza con un círculo mágico (si no sabes cómo hacerlo, simplemente une 3 o 4 cadenetas con un punto deslizado para formar un aro)

VUELTA 1: 3 cadenetas (serán un punto alto) y 11 puntos altos más dentro del círculo. Une con punto deslizado a la tercera cadeneta inicial y cierra el círculo mágico.

VUELTA 2: 3 cadenetas (serán un punto alto). 2 puntos altos en cada punto de la vuelta anterior.

Con B.

VUELTA 3: (3 cadenetas, 2 puntos altos, 2 cadenetas, 3 puntos altos) en el mismo punto. *1 cadeneta, sáltate 2 puntos, 3 puntos altos en el siguiente punto, 1 cadeneta, sáltate 2 puntos, (3 puntos altos, 2 cadenetas, 3 puntos altos) en el siguiente punto* y repite 2 veces más de * a *^. 1 cadeneta, sáltate 2 puntos, 3 puntos altos en el siguiente punto, 1 cadeneta y une con la tercera cadeneta inicial.

Con C.

Desplázate hasta el próximo espacio de 2 cadenetas.

VUELTA 4: Repite la vuelta 3 añadiendo un grupo (1 cadeneta, sáltate 2 puntos, 3 puntos altos en el siguiente punto) más a cada uno de los cuatro lados para completar los huecos hasta la esquina.

Con A.

VUELTA 5: Repite la vuelta 4.

Con D.

VUELTA 6: Repite la vuelta 4.

With A.

Start with a magic ring (if you don't know how to do it just make 3 or 4 chains and a slip stitch to form a ring)

ROW 1: Chain 3 (it will be a double crochet) and 11 more double stitches inside the ring. Join with a slip stitch and close the magic ring.

ROW 2: Chain 3 (it will be a double crochet) and 2 double crochet in each stitch of the last row.

With B.

ROW 3: (Chain 3, 2 double crochet, chain 2, 3 double crochet) in the same stitch. *Chain 1, skip 2 stitches, 3 double crochet, chain 1, skip 2 stitches, (3 double crochet, chain 2, 3 double crochet) in the next stitch* and repeat twice from * to *. Chain 1, skip 2 stitches, 3 double crochet in the next stitch, chain 1 and join with slip stitch. 

With C. 

Slip stitch to the next chain 2 space. 

ROW 4: Repeat row 3 but add a group (Chain 1, skip 2 stitches, 3 double crochet) more to each of the four sides to complete the spaces until the corner.

With A. 

ROW 5: Repeat row 4.

With D.

ROW 6: Repeat row 5.

Square a week: Tips

¡Buenos días! Hoy os enseñamos algunos tips para la elección de los colores, el tejido o la aguja que utilizaremos en el CAL para que estéis seguros antes de comenzar :) // Good morning! Today we show you some tips to choose the colors, yarn and hook that we will use for the CAL for you to be confident with the project :)

Lo primero es elegir vuestros tejidos y colores. Nosotros utilizaremos algodón natural 100% como color principal y algodón 70% acrílico 30% para los secundarios. Os recomendamos usar un color principal y otros dos de la misma gama pero diferente tono. Además, utilizaremos un cuarto color que destaque sobre los demás, totalmente diferente, pero que combine con el resto. // First of all we have to choose the yarn and the colors. We will use 100% natural cotton as the main color and 70% cotton 30% acrylic as secondary colors. We recommend to use a main color and another two colors that belong to the same range but in different shades. In addition, we will use a fourth color that will be different but matching the rest.

Hemos elegido estos colores. De izquierda (más) a derecha (menos), estos son los colores que utilizaremos más y menos en el proyecto. // We have chosen these colors. From left (more) to right (less), these are the colors that we will use more and less in the project. 

A. Beige

B. Camel

C. Azul // Blue

D. Marrón oscuro // Dark brown

Ahora escoge tus cuatro colores y ponlos en orden como nosotros hemos hecho. Tu color principal será el A, el siguiente más utilizaso será el B, con el que haremos los grandes detalles será el C y con el que haremos los pequeños detalles será el D. // Now choose your four colors and put them in order as we have done. Your main color will be A, the next more used color will be B, the one for the big details will be C and the one for the small details will be D. 

Por ejemplo, nuestra manta será mayormente marrón clara (en diferentes tonos) y con algunos detalles en azul y marrón oscuro. // For example, our blanket will be mostly light brown (in different shades) and some details will be blue and dark brown.

Para la elección de la aguja debemos tener en cuenta la tensión con la que preferimos tejer. No te preocupes si no estás seguro. Puede que utilices más de una aguja en este proyecto. // To choose a hook, we need to consider the tension that we prefer when crocheting. Don't worry if you're not sure. Maybe you will use more than one hook in this project. 

Cuando estemos terminando la manta, tejeremos algunas líneas adicionales para agrandar los cuadrados más pequeños, así que no trates de hacerlos perfectamente cada semana. Tendrás diferentes tamaños que igualaremos al final. // When finishing the blanket we will crochet some additional rows to enlarge the smaller squares, so don't try them to be perfectly done each week. You will have different sizes that we will match to make them equal at the end.

¡Hola, aristocrafters! :)
En primer lugar, queremos felicitaros el comienzo de este año con nuestros mejores deseos para que consigáis todo lo que os propongáis.
Y en segundo lugar, os proponemos un reto:

Cada semana colgaremos en el blog un patrón escrito del cuadrado de ganchillo que tejeremos. Al comenzar utilizaremos patrones sencillos, fáciles de seguir, con puntos básicos y, cuando vayamos avanzando, complicaremos un poco las formas y los dibujos.

¿Por qué un patrón escrito? // Why is it a written pattern?

Muy sencillo: además de que para algunas personas seguir las instrucciones escritas de un patrón es más fácil que descifrar un gráfico, no sabréis cómo es el cuadrado hasta que lo terminéis. // Very simple: some people find easier to follow a written pattern than a graphic and, in addition, when crocheting with a written pattern you can't see the square until you finish it :)

¿Qué haremos con los cuadrados? // What will we do with the squares?

Durante este año, cada semana tejeremos un cuadrado, así que al final del año tendremos 50 cuadrados (la primera y la última semana son para hacerse con el material y unir los cuadrados) que uniremos cuidadosamente para formar una manta. // During this year, each week we will crochet a square so, at the end of the year, we will have 50 squares (the first and last weeks you will have time to prepare the materials and join the squares) that we will join to form a blanket. 

¿Qué pasa si no empiezo a tiempo? // What happens if I can't start on time?

No hay ningún problema, sólo tendrás que hacer más cuadrados al principio, pero seguro que podrás llegar al punto donde estamos los demás en unos días. // Don't worry! You would have to work a little more the first weeks to get us but you will be able to do it :)

¿Y si no termino el reto? // What if I don't finish the challenge?

No pasa absolutamente nada, si haces algunos cuadrados pero por cualquier motivo no continúas con el reto, siempre puedes unir tus cuadrados y formar cualquier otro proyecto. Echa un vistazo a nuestros tableros en Pinterest para ver la gran cantidad de cosas que puedes hacer con cuadrados de ganchillo. También puedes donar tus cuadrados a iniciativas como Tejido Social Valencia o similares, que estarán encantados de recogerlos para sus proyectos solidarios. // No problem, if you do some squares but, for any reason, you can't continue with the challenge, you can always join your squares and finish a different project. Take a look to our Pinterest boards to see the amount of projects you can create with crochet squares. You can always donate your squares to a initiative like Tejido Social or similar, that will be pleased to accept them to be part of their charity projects. 

Cómo comenzar // How to start:

1. Colores // Colors: Escoge un color para que sea el color principal de tu manta y otros tres que serán secundarios. Si necesitas inspiración para escoger tus colores, puedes echar un vistazo aquí. // Choose a color to be the main color of your blanket and another three colors that will be secondary. If you need inspiration to choose them, you can take a look here.

2. Aguja // Hook: Nosotros tejeremos con una aguja de 3'50 o 4mm, que es la adecuada para nuestro material, pero puedes escoger la que te sea más cómoda. // We will crochet with a 3'50 or 4mm hook, that is proper to our yarn, but you can choose your own gauge.
